L’expéditeur est un négociant en philatélie résidant à Harbin depuis longtemps. Il était le principal fournisseur The Universal Stamp Co à Tsingtao (1), le destinataire de ce courrier.
Cette lettre, envoyée par avion, ne sera pas acheminée par cette voie jusqu’à sa destination finale. En effet, elle s’envole de Harbin (en fin d’après midi) et atterri à Tientsin très certainement le lendemain 26 février (à cause des escales). Là, la poste chinoise ne prend pas en compte le « Par avion » mandchou. La lettre est glissée dans l’acheminement par voie terrestre, donc par le train vers Tsingtao.

The sender is a long-
This letter, sent by airmail, did not reach its final destination by this route. In fact, it flew out of Harbin (late afternoon) and landed in Tientsin, most likely the following day, February 26th (due to stopovers). Here, the Chinese post office does not take into account the Manchu "By plane". The letter is slipped into the overland route, i.e. by train to Tsingtao.
